Head-on Collisions

A head-on collision occurs when the front end of two vehicles, including cars, trucks, and trains, collide with each other.

Head-on collisions can be the result of a distracted driver pulling into traffic going the opposite direction or a driver mistakenly driving the wrong way down a road. Head-on collisions are rare and only account for 2% of crashes nationwide. However, they make up 10% of collisions where a party involved was fatally injured.

Head-on collisions are some of the most dangerous types of accidents because the force of impact is double due to the traveling speed of each vehicle. In a head-on collision airbags typically deploy. Injured parties experience Head injuries, cuts, bruises, Whiplash, and in some cases, death.

If you or a loved one is involved in a head-on collision, even if you are unsure of who is at fault, you should contact an attorney who has experience representing parties injured in head-on collisions. Boyda Law is experienced in representing clients who have been injured in head-on collisions. We recognize that parties injured due to head-on collision are at a higher risk for severe injury and we will fight to gain you the compensation you deserve if you are suffering from those injuries.
